Kouko Fukazawa Nonohana Flower Museum

The Kouko Fukazawa Nonohana Flower Museum exhibits extensive collections of paintings and drawings focusing on wildflowers and natural elements from Japanese landscapes.

The museum opened in July 1996 in a former post office building from 1911, known as Meiji 44 Hall, which now holds cultural property status.

This specialized institution preserves and displays the artistic legacy of Kouko Fukazawa through permanent exhibitions dedicated to floral representations in Japanese art.

Located within the Karuizawa Taliesin complex, the museum offers regular exhibitions, educational programs, and workshops focused on botanical art techniques.
