Kumagai Kaya Tsukechi Gallery, Art and biographical museum in Tsukechicho, Japan
The Kumagai Kaya Tsukechi Gallery exhibits 60 works, including oil paintings, ink paintings, and calligraphy by artist Morikazu Kumagai throughout the year.
The gallery opened in 1985 on the former residence of painter Morikazu Kumagai, who lived there for 45 years until his death in 1977.
The museum maintains a collection of 153 artworks donated to Toshima City, forming the foundation of the present Kumagai Moriichi Museum of Art.
The museum operates from 10:30 to 17:30, charges 500 yen for adults, and offers convenient access from Kanamecho Station on the Yurakucho Line.
The gallery includes the original studio where Morikazu Kumagai created his works, providing visitors direct connection to his creative environment.
