Hekinan City Rinkai Park

Hekinan City Rinkai Park is a seaside park along Kinuura Bay featuring open grassy areas, walking paths, and shaded rest spots for visitors. The layout includes water play facilities and elevated areas that define different zones throughout the grounds.

The park opened in March 2009, replacing a former swimming pool facility that once occupied the site. This transformation gave the community a new public space for outdoor recreation.

Local residents gather here for festivals and celebrations, using the open areas as a meeting place for community activities. The park has become where people naturally come to spend time together and connect with their neighbors.

On rainy days, visitors can use indoor play areas to stay entertained, while summer brings a fountain pool for cooling off and water activities. The flat walking paths make it easy to navigate the park for people of all ages.

The Hekinoyama mound within the grounds provides slopes where children enjoy sledding and sliding activities year-round. This feature draws families looking for hillside play beyond the water areas.
