Wakamatsu Park

Wakamatsu Park is a public park in Nagata Ward, Kobe, with green spaces and walking paths alongside recreational facilities for the neighborhood. At its center stands an 18-meter tall robot statue designed by a celebrated manga artist that dominates the landscape.

The park gained new importance after the Great Hanshin Earthquake of 1995 and became a symbol of recovery for the city. The statue was later established as a monument to the community's resilience.
