Wakasato Park

Wakasato Park is a green space with walking paths and sports facilities spread across several hectares in central Nagano. The grounds combine open lawns with designated areas for different recreational activities.

The park was created in 1983 as part of Nagano's modernization and expansion of public recreational spaces. It later became an important community center ahead of the 1998 Winter Olympics.

You can reach the park by bus from Nagano Station or drive there with parking available on site. The park is easy to access and accessible for different types of visitors and mobility needs.
