逢瀬公園・緑化センター

The Ouse Park and Greening Center spans 32.5 hectares across elevations between 280 and 350 meters in Fukushima Prefecture.

The park section opened in 1979, followed by the Fukushima Prefecture General Greening Center establishment in 1981, creating a dual-purpose recreational space.

The facility promotes environmental education through butterfly observation stations and seasonal workshops focused on local flora and agricultural practices.

Visitors can access the park by taking a 40-minute bus ride from Koriyama Station to the Greening Center stop or drive 15 minutes from Koriyama Interchange.

The park houses a specialized cactus garden containing 800 specimens collected over half a century by Dr. Tatsuo Ota, later donated by his wife Midoriko.
