Nabeshima Shōtō Park, Urban park in Shōtō district, Tokyo, Japan
The park features a pond surrounded by walkways, play equipment, and numerous benches positioned throughout its carefully maintained green spaces.
Originally part of the Tokugawa family estate, this land was transformed into a public park that preserves elements of its noble heritage.
The park integrates traditional Japanese garden elements with modern architecture, including innovative toilet facilities designed by architect Kengo Kuma.
Located eight minutes from Shinsen Station on the Inokashira Line, the park remains open daily and includes wheelchair-accessible paths and facilities.
Five cedar-board structures housing public restrooms form a village within the park, each positioned at different angles to connect with nature.
