Ryugeji

Ryugeji is a Buddhist temple in Sera featuring traditional Japanese architectural style and multiple halls arranged for religious ceremonies. The complex displays classic temple elements with different spaces designed for prayer and worship.

According to local records, the temple was founded in 1222 following the appearance of a mermaid near a nearby beach. This legendary event led to the establishment of this religious site, which has developed since then.
