Built in 1933, this branch office of the Aichi Prefecture Government withstood World War II air raids and maintains its original Imperial Crown architectural style.
The building layout forms the character for Japan (日) when viewed from above, with corridors dividing the north and south wings of the structure.
Visitors can access various public services at the office by taking the Higashiyama Line to Sakae Station and transferring to the Meijo line to Shiyakusyo Station.
The structure reaches 39.79 meters in height and features an oriental-style roof design that echoes the architecture of neighboring Nagoya Castle.
