かしの木山自然公園

Kashinokiyama Nature Park extends across 5.5 hectares, featuring oak forests with Shirakashi, Kunugi, and Konara trees that provide habitat for birds and insects.

The park opened on May 1, 1988, as an urban planning project by Machida City, with the Forest House management building following in May 1990.

The nature observation center, Forest House, contains exhibition spaces and learning rooms where environmental education activities engage up to 60 participants monthly.

The park opens daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with extended hours until 5:30 PM from June through August, and visitors should note there is no parking available.

From the ridge path within the park, visitors can observe both the Tanzawa mountain range and the cityscape of Machida spreading below.
