Happiring

Happiring is a modern commercial building next to Fukui Station containing retail areas, restaurants, and event spaces spread across multiple floors. The various levels combine different shopping sections with dining options and community spaces for gatherings.

Happiring was built as a major development project that transformed the station area into a modern commercial center. The project was part of Fukui's efforts to revitalize its downtown through new business complexes.

The building hosts traditional Japanese performances such as koto concerts and Noh theater in its dedicated performance hall. Visitors can experience local artistic traditions within a modern setting here.

The complex offers ample parking right at the building, making a car visit straightforward. Wide hallways and clear signage make it easy to find your way through the different floors and sections.

Inside sits the Seiren Planet planetarium with astronomical exhibits and space education programs. This unexpected element brings science and learning to what is otherwise a typical shopping destination.
