Waseda Aizu Museum, University museum at Nishi-Waseda, Japan

The Waseda Aizu Museum contains more than 50,000 artifacts, including Japanese ceramics, calligraphy works, and archaeological materials within its concrete structure.

The building, completed in 1925 as Waseda University's library, represents the second oldest reinforced concrete structure on campus, designed by architect Kenji Imai.

The museum preserves the Yaichi Aizu Collection, featuring Chinese antiques and art pieces collected during his research trips to Nara and other locations.

Located five minutes from Waseda Station, this free admission museum operates from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except on Wednesdays and New Year holidays.

The structure features a polygonal roof with expressive curves, earning recognition as a Tokyo Metropolitan Government-designated architectural structure of historic value.
