Izumi Nature Park

Izumi Nature Park is a 43-hectare green space on the Hokuso Plateau with walking trails running through forests and around a central duck pond. The grounds include barbecue areas, day camping spots, and an outdoor adventure area with various activity options for visitors.

The park gained recognition by being included in Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots, a selection that reflected its importance in the national landscape. This designation was based on its collection of 1,500 cherry trees that made it a destination for seasonal visitors.

The park draws local photographers and nature lovers who return to capture seasonal changes in the maple and cherry trees. This community of visitors helps make the changing seasons a lived experience that shapes how people engage with the space throughout the year.

The park provides 250 parking spaces to accommodate visitors exploring its various facilities and trails. The layout allows for flexible visits at different times of day depending on your interests and preferred activities.

A 65-meter suspension bridge crosses the park grounds and provides elevated vantage points over the landscape. This structure allows visitors to see the surroundings from a different perspective and witness seasonal transformations from above.
