Liberty Resort Daito Onsen

The facility opened in 2021, bringing a modern bathing establishment to the Kakegawa area in Shizuoka Prefecture. The resort's creation represents a recent addition to the region's thermal bathing culture.

The spring follows Japanese bathing traditions where visitors wash before entering the communal thermal pools. The different bathing areas allow guests to experience these rituals and unwind.

The resort is about 30 minutes by car from Kakegawa IC on the Tomei Expressway. By bus it is about 35 minutes from Kakegawa Station to reach the property.

The water has a distinctive caramel-brown color that sets it apart from other thermal baths. The grounds blend this traditional element with Mediterranean design, creating an unexpected combination.
