Jaunsvente Manor

Jaunsvente Manor is a baroque revival building used as a military museum located on the grounds of a former farm. The structure houses a collection of tanks and military equipment from the Second World War.

The manor was built in 1912 and originally served as an agricultural property in the region. After several renovations, it eventually became a museum for military vehicles.

The manor shows how the local area experienced the Soviet period by displaying tanks and equipment that remain visible today. Visitors can directly understand the history of these machines.

Visiting works best when you plan around the opening schedule and can explore the outdoor grounds on foot. Warm clothing is advisable since many displays are positioned outside.

The collection includes two impressive tanks: the IS-2 and the T-34, each playing different roles during the war. Some of these machines allow visitors to experience operating equipment firsthand.
