IMCAMA Building

The IMCAMA Building is an Art Deco residential structure at Place Saint-Exupéry that marks the corner of Boulevard Lorraine and Rue d'Agadir. The structure spans several floors with characteristic windows and decorative details that reflect the building style of its era.

Architect Albert Greslin designed this residential building in 1928 during a period of intensive urban expansion in Casablanca. The construction occurred when new residential areas were emerging and modern housing was being built for the growing population.

The building displays the blend of European and North African design elements that became part of Casablanca's urban fabric during the 1920s. This fusion is visible in the facade details and spatial arrangements, which combine both design traditions.

The building remains an active residential property and can be viewed from the street near Arab League Park. Access to the area is straightforward, as the corner location sits at a major intersection in the downtown district.

IMCAMA stands for Société Immobilière de Casablanca et Maroc, a real estate company that developed properties during the colonial period. The name itself reveals how investment firms of that era were structured to manage multiple regions.
