Nederlands Watermuseum, Water education museum in Arnhem, Netherlands
The Nederlands Watermuseum contains more than 50 interactive water exhibits located beneath ground level in Sonsbeek Park of Arnhem.
The building transformed from Begijnenmolen into the Nederlands Watermuseum between 2002 and 2003 to create an educational water center.
The museum exhibits demonstrate Dutch water management techniques, including the functioning of sluices, pumping stations, and flood prevention systems.
The museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00, with admission prices of €11.50 for adults and €8.50 for children aged 4 to 12.
Visitors participate in water experiments at the Water Lab while children engage with an outdoor water playground during summer months.
