Niepołomice

Niepołomice is a town near Kraków situated along the Vistula River and bordered by an expansive forest area. The center features a Renaissance castle that now functions as a cultural venue, while residential areas spread throughout the surrounding landscape.

The settlement began around a royal hunting castle built in the mid-14th century by King Casimir III. The town later received formal status and became an important community in the region.
