Skigebiet Butorowy Wierch sits on the southern slopes of Gubałówka mountain, connecting the Kościelisko valley to the higher elevations above. The slopes range from easier trails to more challenging runs, offering different options for skiers at various skill levels.
The resort opened in 1978, introducing ski facilities to this section of the Pogórze Gubałowskie. It has since become a regular winter spot for the region.
The resort forms part of the winter recreation heritage in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, located near traditional Tatra Mountain communities.
A chairlift carries visitors from the valley directly to the upper slopes, saving time and effort. The location is best visited during snowy months and requires proper equipment and caution on icy sections.
The chairlift system, stretching 1619 meters, connects the valley of Kościelisko directly to the ridge below Gubałówka mountain.
