Description
The Rezerwat przyrody Przełomy pod Książem koło Wałbrzycha is a nature reserve with deep gorges carved by the Pełcznica and Szczawnik streams. The terrain spreads across forests containing steep valleys and diverse plant and animal habitats.

The reserve was established in 2000 to protect geological formations millions of years old. Archaeological remains of ancient settlements near Książ Castle show evidence of early human presence in the area.
