Mausoleum in Książ

The Mausoleum in Książ is a stone structure with solid granite walls and carefully arranged burial chambers throughout. Several compartments hold family items alongside the graves, and religious carvings decorate the interior surfaces.

The structure was built in 1734 as a burial place for the von Hochberg family. This family held considerable power in Silesia and shaped the region for many generations.
