Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra building, Concert hall in Strefa Kultury, Katowice, Poland.

The Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra building features a main concert hall with 1,800 seats and a smaller chamber venue for 300 listeners.

The orchestra relocated to Katowice in 1945, and in 2014 moved into its current building designed by architect Tomasz Konior with acoustics by Yasuhisa Toyota.

The venue hosts classical performances, jazz concerts, and contemporary music events, contributing to the transformation of this former industrial region into a cultural center.

The structure contains over 400 rooms, including recording studios, offices, wardrobes, dining facilities, and leisure spaces spread across its 616-meter width.

The concert hall employs colored concrete and surrounds the stage from all sides, reducing the physical distance between musicians and the audience for enhanced sound perception.
