Muzeum Wódki

The Vodka Museum occupies five interactive galleries inside a 19th-century factory building at the Koneser Praga Center. The spaces feature bottles, glasses, labels, and other objects that document five centuries of Polish vodka production.

The building housed the former Warszawska Wytwórnia Wódek Koneser, where specialists created formulas for Wyborowa and Luksusowa vodkas between the World Wars. The site later transformed into a cultural center that blends its industrial past with contemporary exhibitions.

The place reveals how vodka became central to Polish identity and celebrations, with displays showing bottles, glasses, and posters from different eras. Visitors can observe the drinking customs and social rituals that shaped the nation's relationship with this spirit.

The museum can be reached on foot from the city center, and the galleries are open on different weekdays. Guided tours and tastings of different varieties are offered regularly, so visitors can choose between structured walks or independent exploration.

The collection includes an unopened bottle of cherry vodka by J.A. Baczewski from the 1940s, a rare record of a production line interrupted by war. Nineteenth-century distillation equipment is also on display, showing how craft and technology came together.
