Reformed Church of Farkas Street

The Reformed Church of Farkas Street features Gothic architecture with soaring vaulted ceilings and pointed arches throughout its interior. The structure is characterized by solid stone walls and contains an organ from the 1700s, which occupies a significant position within the main prayer space.

King Matthias Corvinus of Hungary commissioned this church in 1486, and its construction stretched across several decades. The building was finally completed in 1516 under the direction of Brother Janos, who oversaw the final phase of the work.
