Vânători-Neamț Natural Park, Protected natural area in Neamț County, Romania.
Vânatori-Neamț Natural Park spreads across the eastern slope of the Stânișoara Mountains and the Neamț Subcarpathians, containing mixed forests and rolling terrain. The protected zone includes three separate nature reserves and diverse woodland habitats.
The park was established in 2000 and built upon earlier conservation efforts that began with the Dragoș Vodă Reserve. That reserve had pioneered the reintroduction of European bison to Romania.
Neamț Monastery sits within the protected area and has been a center for manuscript collection and spiritual life for centuries. The monks continue their daily work of preserving texts and practicing traditional Orthodox customs.
The park can be reached via several national roads, including DN15C and DN17B leading into the area. Marked trails connect various observation points and natural landmarks, allowing visitors to choose how much to explore.
A suspended forest bridge in the park carries visitors high above the ground through the tree canopy. From this elevated vantage point, observers can watch forest animals as they move through their natural habitat.
