Veronica Micle memorial house in Târgu Neamț

The wooden and brick house contains three rooms and a porch, displaying personal belongings, manuscripts, and photographs of Romanian poet Veronica Micle.

Built in 1834 by Neamt Monastery as a guest house, the property was purchased in 1850 by Ana Câmpeanu, mother of Veronica Micle.

The museum exhibits numerous letters and poems exchanged between Veronica Micle and Romanian poet Mihai Eminescu, discovered after a century.

Located at 33 Stefan cel Mare Street, the memorial house opens Tuesday through Sunday with seasonal schedules and requires an entrance fee.

The museum preserves original items including a crystal mirror, Viennese table, hunting binoculars, silver book support, and a plaster copy of Eminescu's burial mask.
