The Military Museum contains over 3,000 exhibits of ancient and modern military artifacts, displayed chronologically in a single long exhibition hall.
Founded in 1878, the museum preserves Roman swords, Greek helmets, Serbian knight armor, medieval weapons, and military equipment from various historical periods.
The exhibition texts appear in both Serbian Cyrillic and Latin scripts alongside English translations, reflecting the cultural diversity of the region.
The museum stands near the center of Belgrade within Kalemegdan Park, with decommissioned tanks and artillery pieces displayed along the entrance paths.
The collection includes parts of a US F-117 stealth aircraft shot down during the 1999 military operations in Serbia.
