Vrdnik-Ravanica monastery

The monastery features traditional stone and brick construction with a cross-shaped layout and multiple architectural elements from different periods of Serbian history.

Founded between the late 15th and early 16th centuries, the monastery received the relics of Prince Lazar in 1811 during the completion of its main church.

The interior of the monastery church contains intricate iconostases created by notable Serbian woodcarvers, representing Orthodox religious artistry.

The monastery complex includes a central church, living quarters, and additional structures, with regular religious services and ceremonies throughout the year.

The monastery courtyard features a bronze bust of Milica Stojadinović Srpkinja, installed in spring 1912, commemorating the Serbian poet and writer.
