The Monasteries of Fruška Gora include sixteen Serbian Orthodox religious buildings spread across a mountain region spanning 50 kilometers in length.

These monasteries, constructed between the 15th and 18th centuries, served as centers of Serbian resistance during the Ottoman Empire occupation period.

The structures combine medieval Serbian architectural traditions with baroque elements, featuring ornate bell towers and intricately carved wooden iconostases.

Visitors can reach the monasteries within one hour by car from Belgrade or forty minutes from Novi Sad, with Krušedol being a common starting point.

From an original collection of thirty-five monasteries in the region, sixteen remain active today, housing religious communities and preserving Serbian Orthodox traditions.
