Jewish Historical Museum

The Jewish Historical Museum is located on the first floor of a 1928 building in central Belgrade, marked by a prominent inscription about the Jewish Religious-School Community. The collection includes ethnological objects, documents, and photographs that trace the long presence of Jewish people in Serbia.

The institution was founded in 1948 and records approximately 2000 years of Jewish history on the Balkans. Through its holdings, one can trace how the community developed and changed over centuries in this region.
