Founded by collector Igor Markin in May 2007, ART4.RU established itself as the first private contemporary art museum in Russia after the Soviet era.
The museum exhibits works from Russian artists including Eric Bulatov, Oleg Vasilyev, Vladimir Weisberg, and Ilya Kabakov, representing modern Russian artistic movements.
Located in Khlynovsky Lane, the museum welcomes visitors Monday through Friday from 11:00 to 19:00 and maintains a shop with art-related items.
The exhibition space spans 600 square meters and presents artworks in a dense arrangement, departing from conventional museum display methods.
