Begovaya, Metro station in Primorsky District, Russia
Begovaya is a metro station in the Primorsky District of Saint Petersburg, located about 20 meters underground. The interior features polished granite floors, stainless steel columns, and ceramic wall panels that run along both platforms.
The station opened in 2018 and extended the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya Line northward from Primorskaya. This expansion improved transportation connections to the northern part of the city.
The station incorporates art panels created by I.I. Baranova using lenticular printing technology, representing modern Russian industrial design principles.
The station features automatic sliding doors along the platform edges and connects to Savushkina Street above. Visitors will find two platforms and should expect typical metro conditions underground.
The ceiling lamps have an unusual propeller shape made of stainless steel with upward-facing fluorescent lights. This lighting creates a particular visual effect as you move through the station.
