The wooden Orthodox chapel features a central dome, Greek-style carved iconostasis, and stands prominently along Kashirskoye Highway in southern Moscow.
The chapel's construction started in July 2002 following requests from local residents, with the first Divine Liturgy held outdoors during building works.
The chapel houses significant religious artifacts, including the Three-Handed Icon of the Mother of God and relics of Saint Panteleimon in a special reliquary.
Regular services take place in the chapel, which includes Sunday schools for children and adults, offering religious education and community activities.
A future expansion plan includes the construction of a large stone church with five domes and a bell tower adjacent to the current wooden structure.
