Church of the Resurrection of Christ, Kostroma, Orthodox church in Kostroma, Russia.
The stone church features five domes, three apses, and a bell tower constructed with traditional architectural elements of the 17th century.
Built around 1654 to replace two wooden churches, the structure underwent modifications including the addition of a refectory and bell tower between the 17th and 18th centuries.
The church interior contained numerous ancient icons, tin vessels, and a 17th-century Gospel book before its closure in the Soviet period.
The building underwent restoration work between 2007 and 2015, focusing on the reconstruction of the main structure, basement, and architectural elements.
The church displays a distinctive wide cornice decorated with pentagonal niches, a feature not found in other Kostroma religious buildings.
