The Red Chambers is a 2-story brick structure with decorative masonry patterns characteristic of its era and multiple interior spaces for exhibitions. The building showcases its original architectural features including patterned facades, and the preserved layout provides distinct rooms for displaying artworks and hosting events.

Built in the 1680s for nobleman Boris Gavrilovich Yushkov, the structure remained a residence for Moscow's upper-class families through the centuries. It underwent multiple renovations and transformations as it passed through different periods and ownership, eventually transitioning to its present cultural role.

The site functions as a contemporary art venue where visitors encounter rotating exhibitions featuring work by Russian and international creators. It has become an active gathering place for cultural events and artistic presentations that engage the local community.

The site sits approximately 300 meters from Kropotkinskaya metro station and is easily accessible on foot from the nearest transport. Visitors can join guided tours to learn about the building, and on-site amenities include event spaces and dining options.
