Aldyn-Bulak, Ethnocultural complex near Ulug-Khem River, Russia
Aldyn-Bulak is an ethnocultural complex featuring seven traditional yurts arranged in a distinctive pattern, with a central restaurant and larger residential structures. The site contains multiple zones designed for different activities and types of visitor engagement.
The complex was established as a cultural initiative to showcase the heritage and traditions of the Tuvan region. It was created to give visitors a place where they could learn about and experience traditional ways of life.
The yurts show how Tuvan people arrange their homes, with each space designed according to traditions that shape daily life. Walking through them helps you understand the practical and social patterns that have defined this culture.
The complex is located west of Kyzyl and accessible by road through the Kyzyl-Shagonar highway. Smoking is prohibited throughout the facility due to the natural materials used in the yurt construction.
The complex is home to a school dedicated to khoomei throat singing, a distinctive vocal technique from the region that visitors can learn about and experience. This specialized training program operates within the facility year-round.
