The Tuvan Cultural Center occupies a two-story timber building that houses multiple performance spaces, including a 150-seat concert hall with Scythian-inspired decorations.
The center opened in 2012 under the direction of musician Kongar-ol Ondar, who established it as a government-funded institution to unite Tuva's cultural ensembles.
The center hosts regular performances of traditional Tuvan throat singing, known as khoomei, alongside exhibitions of local handicrafts, metalwork, and contemporary art.
Visitors can observe National Orchestra rehearsals on weekdays from 10 AM to 2 PM in the upper-level studio of the building.
The basement contains specialized rehearsal rooms where various musical groups practice, while the International Scientific Centre of Khöömei operates next door.
