Karelian Isthmus Military Museum, Military museum in Vyborg, Russia
The Karelian Isthmus Military Museum exhibits over 2000 military artifacts, including uniforms, equipment, and documents from the Soviet and Finnish armies.
Founded in 2013 by historian Bair Irincheev, the museum preserves the military heritage of conflicts between Soviet and Finnish forces in the Karelian region.
The museum maintains a collection of 3000 wartime photographs and 200 books that document the social and military experiences during the regional conflicts.
Located at Krepostnaya Street 26 in Vyborg, the museum operates Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00 during summer and weekends only in winter.
The exhibition includes 100 original propaganda leaflets from two distinct war periods between 1939-1940 and 1941-1944, revealing communication strategies of both sides.
