The Parish School building features two floors with brick style architecture, displaying relief elements on the first floor and arched window frames above.
Built in 1885, the structure belonged to Cossack widow Anna Borisova before becoming the first elementary school in Novocherkassk, serving up to 150 students.
The Parish School provided education for children from the Nikolaevskaya Church district, marking the beginning of formal education in the local community.
The institution required 2,450 rubles annually from Cossack trustees and local administration to maintain its educational operations and facilities.
The building transformed through various educational institutions, including a women's high school, labor school, and currently houses a psychological-pedagogical assistance center.
