Малый Ильинский мост, Steel and concrete bridge in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The Maly Ilinsky Bridge is a steel and concrete structure in Saint Petersburg that spans the Luppa River. It connects two garden areas and measures roughly 47 meters long with a roadway of nearly 5 meters wide.
The original wooden structure dates from before 1917 and underwent several rebuilds. A major renovation happened in 1924, and 1940 brought metal support beams, followed by reconstruction in 1991 using materials from a former railway bridge.
The bridge bears its name from the nearby Church of Saint Prophet Elijah, which stands as a religious center in the Porohovye district.
The bridge sits in the Krasnogvardeysky district near Revolution Highway and is reachable from Ladozhskaya metro station. It serves as a vehicle crossing between residential areas and can be walked across.
The current structure incorporates materials from a former railway bridge during its 1991 reconstruction, maintaining three reinforced concrete spans with high-strength beams.
