The museum opened in 1998 to commemorate Pavel Florensky, who made significant contributions to mathematics, physics, and theology before his arrest in 1933.
The collection includes personal belongings, manuscripts, and photographs that document Florensky's work in combining scientific research with Orthodox Christian theology.
Located at Burdenko Street 16/12, the museum maintains regular hours and provides guided tours through the life and achievements of Pavel Florensky.
The museum holds original documents showing Florensky's research on electrical fields conducted during his time working on the GOELRO electrification plan.
