Pushkin summer cottage museum

Pushkin Summer Cottage Museum is an Empire style residence in Pushkin that displays personal objects, manuscripts, and documents belonging to the writer. The house on Pushkinskaya Street preserves the rooms in their original state with furnishings and objects from the 19th century.

The house was built in 1827 by architect V.M. Gornostayev and served as a summer residence during the writer's stays in Tsarskoye Selo. This period marked a time when the writer was working intensively on his works while the town was becoming an important cultural center.
