Geldegan Mosque

Geldegan Mosque is a modern house of worship in Shali with white marble and four tall towers that define the cityscape. The central prayer hall is spanned by a large dome, and the entire complex is designed to accommodate thousands of visitors.

The house of worship was opened in 2019 and represents a modern addition to Shali's development. Since then, it has become an important community center in the region.

The interior spaces display calligraphic inscriptions on the walls, showing religious texts written in elegant script. The rooms feel bright and open, with numerous sparkling chandeliers that reflect light throughout the prayer halls.

The building has large areas both inside and outside where many people can gather. The white structures and towers are easy to spot even if you approach from a distance.

The white and light-colored stone used in construction comes from Turkey and shows a connection to traditional building methods from another region. This makes the building a unique example of cultural exchange in Shali.
