Stora Teatern, Renaissance Revival theatre in Lorensberg, Sweden

Stora Teatern stands thirty meters tall within Kungsparken park, featuring a round salon and multiple performance stages beneath its Renaissance Revival facade.

The theatre opened in 1859 as Nya Theatern with construction costs reaching 380,000 Swedish riksdaler, before receiving its current name in 1880.

The interior displays intricate stucco work and paintings by sculptor Carl Ahlborn, contributing to the building's architectural and artistic character.

The venue contains a ProTools recording studio, three performance stages, conference rooms, and a restaurant called Grill Del Mundo.

The basement houses restaurant Gropen, while Storköket ute provides outdoor dining adjacent to Bältespännarparken's fountain and sculptures.
