Nybrogatan, Pedestrian zone in Östermalm district, Stockholm, Sweden
Nybrogatan extends for one kilometer from Nybroplan to Valhallavägen, featuring residential buildings, offices, stores, cafes, and restaurants along its length.
The northern section of Nybrogatan was called Seved Bååtsgatan until 1864, named after a local official who served in the area.
The street houses numerous dining establishments, including Mom's Kitchen at number 40, which serves traditional Swedish meatballs to local residents and tourists.
The Östermalmstorg metro station provides direct access to Nybrogatan through one of its entrances, while a tram line runs near the street at Nybroplan.
The street received its name from a bridge built over Nybroviken in the 1600s, which later became unnecessary when the water body was filled during the 1800s.
