Prinsessan Sibyllas våning, Royal apartment floor in Stockholm Palace, Sweden.

Prinsessan Sibyllas våning is a residential floor in Stockholm Palace featuring several color-themed rooms. The spaces, including the Blue Salon and Yellow Salon, were designed by Carl Hårleman with distinctive pilasters and decorated door overhangs.

The floor was originally home to Crown Prince Gustav III from 1754 to 1771. Later residents included Queen Josefina and, from 1950 onward, Princess Sibylla with her family.

The Blue Salon marks where King Carl XVI Gustaf announced his engagement to Silvia Sommerlath in 1976. This room represents a pivotal moment in the modern Swedish royal family's story that visitors can still witness today.

The floor is situated directly beneath Prins Bertils våning and functions as a representation space for the royal household. Visitors should note that access may be limited, and it is wise to check current opening information before arriving.

The Yellow Salon retains original eighteenth-century interior elements created by Carl Hårleman during Gustav III's era. These details offer insight into how the space looked when it was first designed and furnished.
