Located along the coastal promenade north of Gröningen, Pålsjöbaden features separate dry and steam saunas, changing rooms, and an enclosed cafe with sea views.
The bathhouse continues the traditional Swedish cold bathing practices that started in the coastal regions during the late 19th century health movement.
Pålsjöbaden maintains gender-separated nude bathing sections and organizes weekly mixed sauna sessions on Thursdays from 18:00 to 20:00 for couples.
The facility operates Monday through Wednesday from 09:00 to 20:00, Thursday from 09:00 to 17:30, and Friday through Sunday from 09:00 to 18:00.
During the annual Cold Bathing Week, Pålsjöbaden hosts multiple events including lectures and various forms of cold water immersion experiences.
