Ringstorps Watertower

Ringstorps Watertower is a square structure featuring four corner towers and symmetrical buttresses. The building once housed a reinforced concrete tank that supplied drinking water to the city's network.

Built between 1904 and 1905, the water tower marked a turning point in industrial architecture. The design blended medieval castle elements with modern utility structures, setting a new standard for the era.

Two memorial stones at the entrance mark the Battle of Helsingborg from 1710, a Swedish military victory. These plaques remind visitors of the battle's significance to the region's past.

The tower is easily accessible from Ringstorp street and can be viewed from the outside. The area is well connected by public transport and offers parking nearby.

The building combines circular and square corner towers with copper-plated edges and small openings resembling medieval loopholes. This unusual blend of castle-like details gives a modern water tank a fortress-like appearance.
