Ringstorps Watertower, Water tower in Ringstorp district, Helsingborg, Sweden
The Ringstorps Watertower stands as a square structure measuring 30 by 30 meters with four corner towers and symmetrical buttresses along its walls.
Constructed between 1904 and 1905, the water tower represented a shift in industrial architecture by incorporating medieval castle elements into utilitarian structures.
Two memorial stones at the entrance steps commemorate the Battle of Helsingborg from 1710, marking a Swedish victory over Danish forces.
The structure contained a reinforced concrete water tank that supplied drinking water to Helsingborg's network until its decommissioning in 1962.
The building features both circular and square corner towers, with copper-plated edges and small openings resembling medieval castle loopholes under the tower roofs.
