Jordfallsbron, Bascule bridge in Gothenburg Municipality, Sweden
Jordfallsbron spans across the Göta älv river with a vertical clearance of 11 meters and a horizontal clearance of 40 meters for maritime traffic.
The construction of this double bascule bridge in 1966 marked a significant development in the regional transportation infrastructure of Västra Götaland County.
The bridge forms an integral part of Swedish maritime navigation, following established protocols for both commercial vessels and recreational watercraft throughout the year.
Maritime traffic can contact the bridge master through VHF channel 9 or telephone at +46(0)10-47 86 330 to request bridge openings when needed.
Between April and September, pleasure craft face specific passage restrictions during weekday peak hours from 0700-0900 and 1600-1800.
