Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Gothic Revival church in Rochor, Singapore
The Church of Saints Peter and Paul features pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and flying buttresses, with a rose window on its frontal facade.
Built between 1869 and 1870, the church received three bronze bells in 1883 from Father Pierre Paris, who rests beneath the central aisle.
The church stands as the mother church of the Chinese Mission in Singapore, leading to the establishment of other Chinese Catholic churches.
The Parish Office operates Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sundays from 9:00 AM to noon.
Napoleon III of France provided funds for the construction of the compound wall that surrounds this national monument of Singapore.
